After moving from Austria to Croatia, I quickly realized how difficult it can be for foreigners – whether tourists or new residents – to find reliable medical information in a language they understand.
I was suddenly confronted with a simple but frustrating question:
Which doctors, clinics or specialists can I contact as a foreigner, and who will be able to communicate with me?
The search was complicated and time-consuming. Many websites were only available in Croatian, many were outdated or incomplete, and it was extremely challenging to find clear and trustworthy information.
From this experience, the idea for Croatia-Med.com was born.
Croatia-Med is a multilingual, independent healthcare directory designed to help foreigners quickly and easily find medical facilities and specialists in Croatia.
The entire website is available in multiple languages, including English, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Croatian and other languages, making it easier for people from different countries to navigate the Croatian healthcare system.
