Verification Policy

What “Verified Doctor” Means at Croatia-Med

At Croatia-Med, a physician is granted “Verified” status only after completing our structured verification process.

The Verified status confirms that:

  1. The physician has provided a valid medical license number.
  2. The license number has been cross-checked against the official professional registry of the competent medical authority.
  3. The name and specialty correspond with the official registry entry.
  4. The practice or clinic address is publicly verifiable.
  5. Contact information (website, telephone number, email) has been reviewed for plausibility and operational validity.
  6. The physician or clinic has completed formal registration with Croatia-Med.
  7. An official invoice has been issued to ensure contractual and data transparency.

Verification is completed before a profile is published on the platform.

How Croatia-Med Verifies a Listed Physician’s License

At Croatia-Med, we follow a structured verification process to ensure accuracy and transparency.

The listed physician holds a valid and active medical license at the time of verification, as confirmed through the official registry of the Croatian Medical Chamber.

The physician’s identity and registration details are carefully checked and must fully match the official registry records.

In addition, the practice information (name, address, contact details, and specialization) is reviewed for authenticity and consistency with publicly available and official sources.

Each verified profile includes an internal record of the verification date.
