No. Croatia-Med is an informational blog and directory. It does not provide medical services, care, or medical agency services.
All data comes directly from verified healthcare providers. Information is manually verified by me and my team and is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure accuracy. Users can also report outdated or incorrect information, which we actively investigate and correct.
In addition, we do not only verify the information itself, but also check the licensing and registration status of all listed healthcare providers to ensure compliance and reduce any risk for patients and visitors.
Our goal is to provide a reliable and safe source of healthcare information for international patients in Croatia.
Croatia-Med is multilingual and available in: English, Croatian, German, English ,French, Italian, Dutch, Czech, Polish and Slovenian
Croatia-Med was created out of real experience. As an expat, I personally experienced how difficult it can be to find clear medical information and the right healthcare provider in Croatia, especially during urgent or stressful situations.
In my case, as a German speaker, it was often hard to quickly find clear information about where to go, what to do, and which medical service was available.
Croatia-Med was built directly from this need: to make healthcare in Croatia easier to access, understand, and navigate for international patients and tourists through clear, structured, and reliable information without relying on intermediaries or agencies.
On eligible listing pages, use Report / claim in the sidebar. Choose claim listing, report incorrect data, or request removal, fill in the form, and submit. Our team reviews every request manually — ownership is not assigned automatically.
Some profiles include a contact form. Your message goes to the listed provider, not to Croatia-Med for medical advice. Response times depend on the provider, we do not guarantee a reply or appointment.
Where enabled, visitors may submit a rating and review. Reviews may be moderated. They must be respectful and factual — no spam or medical advice. Use them as one signal among others when choosing a provider.
Yes. Croatia-Med is completely free for visitors. You can browse and access information about medical providers in Croatia without any cost.
Where shown, it means we have checked provider credentials or registration according to our process. It supports trust in the listing — not a guarantee of medical outcome or availability.
Use language filters in search where available, check the Languages section on the profile, and call ahead to confirm when possible.
No. Visitors can search and view listings without registering. Accounts are mainly for healthcare providers.
Call 112 immediately for life-threatening emergencies. Croatia-Med is not an emergency service — use it for orientation before or after an emergency, not instead of emergency care.

Hours may change on public holidays or seasonally. Check the profile and call the provider to confirm, especially outside normal hours.
No. It is general information to help you find providers. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Some listings may be highlighted as part of a paid provider plan. Promotion affects visibility, not verification standards or quality of care.
